Regular Panels: A Net Neutrality Report Card
Philanthropy can:
1. Rate/grade ISPs on their actions a) connecting public schools within their regions; b) connectivity of rural communities within their regions; c) grade ISPs for speed/costs (comparisons to best practices globally to inform American public where they stand vis a vis other communities globally); d) track throttling/disruptions in service.
2. Commission reports on innovations or improvements to quality of life due to an open internet.
3. Host REGULAR State of the Web events pulling in bigwigs but also grassroots activists, tech entrepreneurs, students to discuss how best to maintain Net Neutrality (similar to your #NetGain held yesterday). In NYC, I would welcome and would gladly attend the Ford Foundation hosting MONTHLY panels.
