privacy can be life-saving. The internet and web technologies are empowering people to organize
and advocate for their rights. Mobile technologies help people to document and put a spotlight on the worst corruption and abuses. As the next billion internet users come online, strong net neutrality protections, and equal, secure access to networks are critical to ensuring that everyone, not just powerful corporations and governments, continue to have a real voice.
